Welcome to CONDOR TOOL & KNIFE®, a legacy of excellence tracing back to 1787 with the establishment of GEBR WEYESBERG COMPANY in Solingen, Germany. This city, known as the "cutlery capital of the world," became renowned for its superior swords, military knives, agricultural tools, and household cutlery.
As the world's largest manufacturer of swords and knives, GEBR WEYESBERG COMPANY expanded its operations globally. In 1964, the company founded IMACASA® in Santa Ana, El Salvador, equipping it with state-of-the-art German machinery and sending employees to Solingen for rigorous training. By the 1980s, local investors acquired IMACASA’s Central American operations, continuing its legacy of high-quality tool manufacturing. With over 58 years of expertise, IMACASA® excels in producing and wholesaling hardware tools for agriculture, construction, lawn and garden, and industrial markets. Its extensive manufacturing and distribution network spans Central America, exporting to over fifty countries and providing substantial employment in the region. Today, IMACASA® stands as a leading global manufacturer of machetes and shovels, operating continuously to meet worldwide demand.
In 2004, IMACASA® introduced a premier line of tools and knives for the North American and European outdoor markets, birthing CONDOR TOOL & KNIFE®. Our brand is synonymous with top-tier machetes, knives, axes, shovels, swords, spears, and accessories.
